Culling the herd

Hunters at times, are used to thin herds of deer and other animals that have grown in population so much that they compete too succesfully with other animals and/or exceed the ability of natural resources to support their numbers. This culling can help maintain a healthy diversity and survival in the area for the long term. It is with this view of long-term stability and diversity for the Democrat party that I present the following news item. (H/T Rightwingsparkle)

John Bolton Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

(CNSNews.com) - John Bolton, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, is one of two Americans who have been nominated for the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize.

Last year, Democrats and a few Republicans refused to confirm Bolton to the U.N. post, forcing President Bush to resort to a recess appointment.

Bolton and Kenneth R. Timmerman were formally nominated by Sweden's former deputy prime minister Per Ahlmark, for playing a major role in exposing Iran's secret plans to develop nuclear weapons.

They documented Iran's secret nuclear buildup and revealed Iran's "repeated lying" and false reports to the International Atomic Energy Agency, a press release said

If you hear a series of *kersplats* it is merely a number of Deaniacs, spineless dhimmis, DailyKosNuts, Sheehanbots and other looney lefties heads exploding. Bolton's mustache was unavailable for comment.

Pamela at Atlas Shrugs has a great run down of  The Bolton Era.

Allow me to be the first to commends Mr. Per Ahlmark former deputy prime minister and former head of Sweden's Liberal Party for his nomination of both Mr. Ken Timmerman US UN Ambassador John Bolton for a Nobel Prize.

Mr. Timmerman and Ambassador Bolton are courageous and prescient on the threats confronting America and its ally Israel and most deserving of this award for their past and continuing laudatory efforts.

I agree with her praise of Mr. Per Ahlmark and enjoyed being reminded of various items within Bolton's tenure at the UN thus far. Was that Howard Dean's head I heard explode? A side affect of this necessary culling may be that RINO Voinovich is reduced to a sobbing mass of spineless jelly. But hey, when you have to thin a herd for long term stability, sometimes other overpopulated groups get in your sites. The Democrat party should thank us.
