Miscellaneous meanderings and philosophical ramblings. The title from a spiral notebook I used to jot down my thoughts on religion and other matters some years ago. I like to write, think and express my views on various issues. Robust discussion is welcome.

The problems that some people have

Sometimes when feeling bad about our predicaments and trials, news comes along that puts things in perspective and helps us see that life isn't so bad for us after all. This story will not do that for you.

Court Grants Restraining Order on Hilton

A court commissioner issued a restraining order Tuesday against celebutante Paris Hilton, ordering her to stay away from an event producer who claimed she threatened and harassed him.

Yeah, I'm going to feel real super sorry for someone who has a millionaire heiress pestering him. It's not like she needs a bag over her head either.

Superior Court Commissioner Tim Murphy approved the restraining order after Brian Quintana, 37, testified that Hilton, 24, shoved him on at least three occasions and badmouthed him.

Oh, pushed him and said mean things, how terrible, the man must really be suffering. I'm surprised this didn't go to a jury trial and end with him awarded huge sums of money for his trials and tribulation. How anybody can complain about what they are going through when this man is enduring such torment is beyond comprehension.

I suppose the upside is that I had an excuse to do an image search for Paris Hilton ;-)
