Mike Huckabee - sincerity extraordinaire
Unfortunately, he sincerely delivered one of the most callous lines in last night's debate.
Defending his increased spending in Arkansas as being the result of improving roads and such, Mike Huckabee said:
"no bridges fell in Arkansas."
I'm sure voters in Minnesota appreciate that Mr. Huckabee.
There's some discussion here about the budget for transportation decreasing:
transportation spending actually decreased from $677 million in 1997 to $320 million in 2006, a 53% decrease!
Sincerely callous and perhaps misleading, great combination there Mike Huckabee.
