How to spell Democrat correctly
Dhimmi or dummy, take your pick. Hopefully dummy is the most accurate but much more of this stupidity, from all politicians, and we will all be learning how to act appropriately under our Dhimmi status. As we shall see, certain Republicans haven't been much better on such matter.
The Democrat National Committee had this recent prayer offered by an Imam during it's Winter meeting. (transcript from Jihad Watch)
In the name of God the most merciful, the most compasionate. We thank you, God, to bless us among your creations. We thank you, God, to make us as a great nation. We thank you God, to send us your messages through our father Abraham and Moses and Jesus and Mohammed. Through you, God, we unite. So guide us to the right path. The path of the people you bless, not the path of the people you doom. Help us God to liberate and fill this earth with justice and peace and love and equality. And help us to stop the war and violence, and oppression and occupation. Ameen. (video here)
After historical review and analysis Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch concludes:
It is interesting to see the Democrats standing with heads bowed piously while the Imam Husham Al-Husainy prays, in veiled terms to be sure, for their conversion to Islam, and oh yes, for the destruction of Israel ("And help us to stop the war and violence, and oppression and occupation").
While some may find it easy to dismiss the implied meaning of the prayer, this imam, Husham Al-Husainy is not a moderate.
Guess Who Cheered Saddam's Hanging?: Meet Moqtada's American Insurgents
Imam Al-Husainy and other Shi'ite leaders in Dearborn are not just followers of Khomeini, they are supporters of Moqtada Al-Sadr and proteges of his late uncle, Imam Mohammed Bakr Al-Sadr--who was murdered by Saddam Hussein. Every year, the Al-Sadr Foundation holds a fundraising banquet in Dearborn. Does any Foundation money go to fund the Mehdi Army?

America's Shi'ite enemies are not just in Sadr City or Central Beirut and Southern Lebanon. They are in America's own Little Sadr City--East Dearborn, where they danced on the streets after Saddam Hussein's execution.
Proving the old adage wrong. The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend.
Sometimes, he's just our enemy. And, unfortunately, he's living on American soil with permanent citizenship. And a lot of easily-incited followers.
Unfortunately, this reaching out to non-moderate Muslims has not been limited to the foolishness of the Democrats. As noted earlier in Debbie Schlussel's article:
Hussainy was one of the imams shown in photographs around the world being hugged by President Bush after we invaded Iraq, and he was invited to the Pentagon to confer with top officials.
Some leaders in our nation and around the world are either too uninformed or too lacking in backbone to avoid giving such extremists more credibility at every opportunity available. It would appear that some are more concerned about being good Dhimmis, than in stopping a creeping descent towards Sharia and the oppression that Islamofacists desire.
What good is our powerful military if the culture it defends has been destroyed?
