For people too stupid to realize it

And too thin skinned to handle a simple and polite request, I do not want trackbacks to my blog posts announcing your open trackbacks. The only exception would be if you referenced my blog post as per normal blog etiquette, as some also write commentary as part of their open trackback posts.

For those with thick skulls, who still have issues, if I say this in bold when I host an open trackback:

Do NOT link your open trackback post here. Use Linkfest Haven instead.

Do you really think I'm going to go about face and want you spamming multiple posts at my blog with your open trackback announcement?

And as for the twit who said they didn't ask me for advice and prompted this post with their idiocy, it is my blog. So, when you interact with my blog improperly, you will get advice on how to correct that. For that individual who couldn't handle my polite request - again, get over yourself.
