Gee, I guess I have another career...
And I didn't even know it.
With the way Nightline portrayed it tonight, the only opposition this Joan of Arc pushing for the Passenger "Bill of Rights" would be facing is the airline industry and their lobbyists tossing around money in Congress.
Well, I think it's a stupid and unnecessary groping into the market. If airlines keep screwing up, passengers will go elsewhere. Those companies that adapt and improve will survive, those that don't will fall by the wayside. I must have misplaced my lobbyist business cards the way they tell it.
Does Congress have nothing better to do? I suppose if I have to choose, between them screwing our troops and the Iraqis over, with their cowardice that provides comfort to our enemies, or screwing up another industry and market again with the unintended consequences that always brings, I'll take the later.
It would be nice if I got the salary that goes along with my additional career though.
