Miscellaneous meanderings and philosophical ramblings. The title from a spiral notebook I used to jot down my thoughts on religion and other matters some years ago. I like to write, think and express my views on various issues. Robust discussion is welcome.

Memorial Day

In remembrance of our troops, who have sacrificed so much for our freedom and to help others escape tyranny and brutality. They're families endure much as their loved ones serve with honor now as as did those who served in the past.

Arlington

I remember seeing a special about the tomb of the unknown soldier some years ago. The devotion of the guard, precision and military pageantry created an aura of somber respect and demand for honor to be bestowed by all present. I'll never forget that and hope to some day see the changing of the guard in person.

Let us all remember what others must endure, that freedom would remain strong in this world.
