Obama's new politics

Words matter, but actions that contradict words matter even more.

Barack Obama's latest ad may appeal to a DailyKos or idiot Myspacer mentality, but it certainly doesn't match up with his rhetoric of elevating political discourse. But then if one has been paying attention, this would be no surprise.

And then we have this, also from HotAir:

Earlier today, Barack Obama’s campaign released an ad attacking John McCain for not knowing how to send an e-mail.  Their crack research team apparently never heard of Google or Lexis-Nexis, but Jonah Goldberg does.  He discovers why McCain doesn’t use a keyboard — his torturers made sure he couldn’t.  The Boston Globe reported it eight years ago...

As they say, read it all.

Sure, one could argue that Obama didn't intend to make fun of a handicapped war hero's inability to easily use a keyboard, he just meant to make fun of old people. Oh wait.
