Miscellaneous meanderings and philosophical ramblings. The title from a spiral notebook I used to jot down my thoughts on religion and other matters some years ago. I like to write, think and express my views on various issues. Robust discussion is welcome.

Barack Obama finds he has a third foot

And promptly inserts that one into his oral orifice, alongside the two already there. In a previous post, I noted how he managed to do a "two step, straight into his own mouth." Apparently the junior Senator, not content to do what any normal naive politician can accomplish, decided to conjure up another appendage to suck on.

For someone reaching for the prize of Commander in Chief of U.S. armed forces, he certainly has a strange way of endearing himself to our soldiers. At a campaign stop he managed to trip over himself and insult our military at the same time.

Asked whether he would move U.S. troops out of Iraq to better fight terrorism elsewhere, he brought up Afghanistan and said, "We've got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there." (source - with video)

Yes, our troops, risking their live to prevent the Taliban from returning to power, to revive it's hold on remote areas of Afghanistan, is just so stupid and bloodthirsty, that they do it by carpet bombing villages and killing civilians.

In that previous post, I speculated, with much sarcasm, that Obama was throwing such statements around to make it clear that he wasn't aiming for the Vice President slot and had his eye on the Presidency. After all, who would want someone so foolish, uninformed and reckless with public statements as a running mate? I have to concede that I may have been wrong. This record of verbal stupidity indicates that Barack Obama, U.S. Senator, Democrat, is actually vying for the job of Ted Rall.

By MSM accounts the junior Democrat Senator has been off to a good start in the Presidential race. A good start at being a foul minded, cretin pretending to be a cartoonist, that is. Either that or he's just too stupid to be in the race or even Congress in the first place. Then again, he may be talented enough to be all of that at the same time.
